The Journal's Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (Neural Networks) in Writing, Reviewing, and Editing Scientific Articles

General Provisions

1. By "use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) in writing" scientific articles, the editors define any use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) by the author in the process of writing the scientific article: writing the text of the scientific article itself, correcting/editing language and style, analyzing data, synthesizing and summarizing information, correcting footnotes and references, writing abstracts, creating visual materials, etc.;

2. Articles written using artificial intelligence (neural networks) are not published in the journal;

3. The editors of the journal do not use artificial intelligence (neural networks) in their work.

Artificial Intelligence (Neural Networks) in Articles

4. The author is obligated to notify the journal's editorial board in writing of their use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) in their work on the article and explain their motivation and the nature of such use.

5. Upon receipt of notification from the author specified in paragraph 4, the journal's editorial board will decide whether to reject the article or continue collaborating with the author to amend the article to minimize or eliminate the consequences of using artificial intelligence (neural networks). The final decision will be made by the journal's editor-in-chief.

6. If the use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) is discovered, and the author has not notified the author, the editorial board will return the article to the author. In this case, the License Agreement, as well as all related agreements, will be deemed null and void. Resubmission of an article with the same title and by the same author is not permitted.

7. If artificial intelligence (neural networks) is discovered to have been used solely to compile the bibliography, and the author has not notified the editor, the article will be returned to the author for revision—to compile the bibliography without the use of artificial intelligence (neural networks). After this revision, the article will be accepted by the editors for re-examination.

8. If artificial intelligence (neural networks) is discovered to have been used in an article previously returned to the author for revision, the editors will return the article to the author. In this case, the License Agreement, as well as all accompanying agreements, will be deemed invalid. Re-submission of an article with the same title and by the same author is not permitted.

9. If an article is submitted by an author whose other article was previously returned by the editors due to the discovery of the use of artificial intelligence (neural networks), the new article will, at the editors' discretion, be sent for particularly thorough review and examination, and the timeframe for such review and examination may be significantly extended. 10. If the article specified in paragraph 9 is found to contain any use of artificial intelligence (neural networks), the editors will return the article to the author. In this case, the License Agreement, as well as all related agreements, will be deemed null and void.

11. The editors reserve the right to subsequently reject without review any work by the author of the article specified in paragraph 9.

Identification of an already published article written using artificial intelligence (neural networks)

12. The discovery of the author's use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) in an article already published in the journal may result in retraction (retraction of the article from publication) in accordance with the journal's Publishing Ethics.

Artificial Intelligence (Neural Networks) in Peer Review

13. The reviewer is obligated to notify the journal's editorial board in writing of their use of artificial intelligence (neural networks) in their review and explain their motivation and the nature of such use.

14. The editorial board reserves the right to reject reviews written using artificial intelligence (neural networks) or to require the reviewer to amend the review to minimize or eliminate the effects of the use of artificial intelligence (neural networks). The final decision is made by the journal's Editor-in-Chief.
